From 2017, new Eunoia Junior College will accept students from CHIJ St Nicholas Girls', Catholic High and Singapore Chinese Girls' Schools for the Integrated Programme (IP). Eunoia is pronounced as "yoo-noh-iea", which meant beautiful thinking and goodwill towards others. Eunoia meaning has Greek roots.
Initially, the school is located at a interim campus in Mount Sinai
until end of 2019.
By 2020, Eunoia Junior College will be shifted to own home at the junction of Marymount Road and Sin Ming Avenue.
In the first year, the enrolment is between 650 to 700 students. About one third of the students will come from O-levels.
Mdm Cheang, the former principal of SRJC, will helm the new
Eunoia Junior College.
From 2013, Methodist Girls' Sch, St Joseph's Institution, Catholic High Sch, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' Sch and S'pore Chinese Girls' Sch will be added.
Depending on each School, Integrated Programme students will graduate at the end of the 6th year with either GCE 'A' Level Qualification or International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Diploma) or the NUS High School Diploma.
Integrated Programme provides a good preparation for students to enter for University Education.
